TOY, LOOK-ALIKE, OR IMITATION FIREARMS
In the state of Tasmania, you must be the holder of a firearms license to possess imitation firearms. Due to this Tasminé Events prohibit any prop that could be mistaken for a real firearm as defined by Tasmanian Police. Toy firearms are exempt, however they may be prohibited at Tasminé Event staff discretion should they not be obvious enough.
For further clarification, please refer to the guidelines provided by Tasmania Police.
Tasminé Events is not responsible for any actions taken by local law enforcement if you choose to display or brandish your prop at or outside the event. Attendees are advised to exercise discretion and consider the public perception when carrying prop weapons.
COSTUMES POLICY
Costumes should not be sexually provocative, or could be generally considered as indecent exposure.
Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times; the soles of your feet must be covered.
Oversized costume wings, armour, or attachments (that extend significantly beyond your body dimensions) are generally not permitted indoors.
Large props that cannot be carried in a way that doesn’t impact others in a confined space are not permitted to be brought indoors.
Costumes that can be mistaken for defence force or law enforcement uniforms are prohibited at Tasminé Events.
